The terms behind our services.
Last updated: 23 October 2026.
Scope
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CoreTechX website, platforms, products and services, including our OCR, handwriting recognition, translation, digitisation and data licensing offerings (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
Use of our Services
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms and any agreement you have signed with CoreTechX. You agree not to:
- use the Services in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- upload content you do not have the right to process, or that contains malicious code;
- attempt to reverse engineer, copy or resell the Services or their underlying models without our written consent;
- interfere with the security, integrity or availability of the Services.
We may suspend access to the Services where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
Agreements and engagement models
Our Services are provided under one of the engagement models described on our website: on-premise AI platform licensing, managed digitisation services, or annotated data and AI licensing. The scope, deliverables, timelines and fees of each engagement are set out in a separate order form, proposal or service agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails.
Client data
You keep full ownership of the documents and data you provide to us (“Client Data”). We process Client Data only to deliver the Services you requested and as described in our Privacy notice. Client Data is not used to train public or third-party models, and model training on Client Data only takes place where explicitly agreed in writing.
Intellectual property
The Services, including our software, models, website content and documentation, are owned by CoreTechX or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in your agreement with us, no rights are transferred to you. Outputs generated from your Client Data, such as transcriptions and structured exports, belong to you.
Fees and payment
Fees are set out in your order form or agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice, and fees exclude applicable taxes. Per-page pricing depends on document complexity and volume, as confirmed before work begins.
Accuracy of AI outputs
Our OCR and AI systems deliver high accuracy, but automated outputs may contain errors, particularly for degraded or highly irregular handwriting. Low-confidence areas are highlighted for human review. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, financial or official decisions, unless human verification is included in your engagement.
Confidentiality and security
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. We apply industry-standard technical and organisational security measures. For on-premise deployments, security of the hosting environment remains the client’s responsibility.
Third-party services
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party tools. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services, and their use is subject to their own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CoreTechX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data arising from the use of the Services. Our total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim arose, unless your agreement states otherwise.
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement as set out in the relevant agreement. On termination, we will return or delete Client Data as instructed, subject to legal retention requirements.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the competent courts in Riyadh, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
